The Mini DV LT is one the world´s smallest digital video recorders. It records about 45 minutes per Gig of memory. The memory card can be upgraded up to 16 Gigs. The built-in rechargeable Lithium battery provides 2 hours of recording time between charges.

The Mini DV LT has a built in microphone and wide-view lens, so it can record what you see and hear; perfect for those times you are away from your vehicle. This recorder can help protect you from false complaints.

With a simple press of a button, the Mini DV LT begins recording. Its recordings can be viewed or downloaded on any computer by plugging the unit into a USB port with the supplied cable.

Digital:	All digital, there is no tape stretching, tape breakage or replacement, weekly tape head cleanings, or tape playback inspections, and the scheduled monthly maintenance common with VCR based systems. Reliable.
“Pre-Event/Alarm” Recording:	On-board VCR systems typically record manually triggered events only due to the limited 6-8 hour total VCR tape record time. The Signal Video Products™ system can record 15-20 hours on a 30 GB removable hard drive. “Pre-Event Mode”, recording during the entire duration of the event as well as up to 5 minutes prior to the activation of a pursuit light, other event or manual trigger. This is an invaluable benefit of the Signal Video Products™ system.
Higher Resolution:	Better image quality\than VHS, the digitally recorded video will not degrade with system usage or when duplicated. Recorded video may be enlarged and further enhanced without affecting court admissibility.
Video Authentication for Court Admissibility:	Video Authentication for court admissibility is standard with the DVR-3012 system. Recorded video scenes may not be altered without detection.
Password:	A password is established for access to system set up of the recorder.
Mass Storage Solution:	Digital video may be archived electronically and stored as needed. Copied video retains full authenticity. Video may be retrieved via database search and may be copied over to video tape, CD, DVD, etc.
